    作为大弟子及随身侍者，彼得对於耶穌的一切事蹟都有纪录下来，但是当时并未目称为福音，只称为『水徒行传』(英文称为：Aquarian Apostle Chronicle)，记下耶穌的言行语录甚详，其中提到耶穌去印度学习东方宗教。
    在耶穌土十字架受难之后，各门徒星散，各处传道，大彼得前往罗马传道，被罗马人逮捕焚死。他的笔记则被门徒收藏，被改名为『水徒福音』(Aquarian Gospel)，实在可说是最早的新约的一部份。
    其他门徒：马太、约翰、路加、马可等各人都是较晚归依耶穌的，他们各人所记录耶穌的言行与语录，后来被称为四大福音书，与大彼得的福音书，互相衔接。
    大彼得所记录的，是耶穌十二岁初次讲道以后，直到三十一岁重返以色列进入耶路撒冷的十八至二十年当中的一切重要事蹟;一直纪到耶穌上十字架。
    马太等四大福音，记载耶穌出生到十二岁初次讲道於犹太教堂，但是十二岁后的事蹟全然隻字不提，记载中断，直到耶穌登上柑欖山被魔鬼试探，在约但河受洗礼於圣施洗约翰，才有纪录，而那时的耶穌已经有三十一二岁了。
    四福音强调耶穌是上帝的独生子，天赋超人能力智慧，十二岁即能在犹太教堂讲道折服各犹太长老，但是四福音对於耶穌十二岁至三十一岁之间的传道事蹟隻字不提，这事岂不奇怪？
